DIY Rainwater Harvesting!
As part of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge 2017-2018, Smart Kids AQUA Tech built a rainwater harvesting system on their coach’s roof! The team has put together an easy DIY Guide to encourage others to a step in becoming a responsible consumer of water. A simple rain water harvesting system let’s you utilise a free, natural resource to water plants, wash your car etc. Instead of waiting for your taps to run dry or calling for truck-borne water you can DIY! If you take further steps you can even filter and purify the water for in-door use!
What’s more these kids are aged 9 to 16 years old. If they can do it, so can you!
