Smart Kids Chosen among best Tech Start-Ups!

Smart Kids along with 11 other Tech start-up was chosen (out of approx. 200) to be sponsored by the Ministry of Planning and Development to attend Tech Beach Retreat and receive mentorship from key players in the Tech Industry. Founder/CEO Sara Bernard represented Smart Kids Educational Club  at the Conference and she has indicated that the most significant impact was meeting with local tech companies interested in giving internships to students who successfully complete Smart Kids 7-year STEM Club Program! Sara Bernard is the founder and CEO of Smart Kids. She has 15 years experience in the LNG Industry where she developed a wealth of knowledge in plant support and supervision of engineering designs. She was an Engineering Team Leader for 5 years before leaving the Oil & Gas Industry to pursue her dreams in Education. Mrs. Bernard started Smart Kids to give young students skills like innovation that she saw were missing in the local industry. She believes innovation is a skill that can be taught and honed with practice!
